reflexGroup opens new large-scale storage technology plant in Slovakia
Expanded production capacity to meet growing global demand for heat pump storage solutions
With the opening of its new state-of-the-art production facility in Rimavská Sobota, reflexGroup continues its international growth strategy. The new plant significantly expands manufacturing capacity for domestic hot water and buffer storage tanks while strengthening the company's global supply capabilities.
The approximately 49,000-square-metre facility specializes in the production of storage tanks for modern heating and cooling systems. As demand for heat pump technology and energy-efficient storage solutions continues to grow worldwide, the new site plays a key role in meeting future market requirements.
In addition to advanced production technology, the facility features integrated logistics and sustainable infrastructure. The current workforce of around 185 employees is expected to grow to as many as 450 in the future. Beyond increasing production capacity, the investment also supports the economic development of the region.
As reflexGroup's eighth production site worldwide, Rimavská Sobota represents an important milestone in the company's international growth strategy and reinforces its commitment to innovative storage technologies and Europe's energy transition.
